A textile & apparel exporter → EUDR anti-deforestation + recycled-content DPP
Leather lines fall under EUDR plot-level traceability while textiles face DPP-ESPR recycled-content disclosure. The group built EU-defensible product data with supply-chain traceability and ecodesign.

- A textile & apparel export group (to the EU, with leather and recycled-fabric lines)
A textile & apparel supplier to European brands, with leather goods and recycled-fabric lines. The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) brings commodities such as cattle hide under control, requiring plot-level geolocation and deforestation-free evidence; meanwhile textiles are a DPP-ESPR priority category, set to disclose recycled-content share, durability and recyclability. With many SME suppliers and farmers upstream, plot-data collection and recycled-content ledgers were the hardest part.
The challenge
Under the twin pressure of compliance and cost, these were the core problems.
EUDR requires leather raw material down to plot coordinates with deforestation-free proof; scattered upstream farmers make data hard to collect.
Recycled-content shares need verifiable evidence; existing “declaration-style” ledgers fall short of DPP-ESPR.
European brand customers demand product-level traceability, which order-based management can’t support.
The AMT approach
From the data foundation to compliant delivery — phased, end to end.
- 1Plot-level traceability
Supply-chain traceability collects leather plot coordinates and deforestation-free evidence, building the EUDR due-diligence dossier.
- 2Suppliers report once
Carbon-Link lets SME suppliers report plot and recycled-content data through one entry, cutting collaboration cost.
- 3Recycled-content parametrisation
Ecodesign captures recycled-share and recyclability parameters into verifiable DPP fields.
- 4DPP & evidence pack
The same data generates the Digital Product Passport and brand-customer evidence packs for EU product-level traceability.
Outcomes
Beyond compliance — quantifiable savings and efficiency.
All figures are anonymised and shown as indicative ranges; they do not refer to any specific customer.
“European brands no longer want “we comply” — they want clickable evidence behind every single product. Getting upstream farmers and recycled-fabric data in was the part AMT truly made work.”
