A diversified export manufacturer → one compliance hub for parallel regulations
The group’s product lines each trigger CBAM, the Battery Regulation, DPP-ESPR and cross-border-data requirements. AMT built one compliance hub to govern data once and dispatch by regulation — ending “one system per regulation”.

- Customer
- A diversified export manufacturer (battery, electronics and metal-product lines)
A diversified group spanning battery, electronics and metal-product lines, mainly exporting to the EU. Each line triggers different rules: metal products face CBAM; batteries face the Battery Regulation and Digital Battery Passport; electronics face DPP-ESPR and value-chain disclosure; and product/supply-chain data sent to the EU also raises cross-border-data compliance. The customer used to “add a system per regulation”, creating data silos, inconsistent definitions and repeatedly bothered suppliers — pushing the marginal cost of compliance ever higher.
The challenge
Under the twin pressure of compliance and cost, these were the core problems.
Many lines trigger many rules; “one system per regulation” breeds data silos and inconsistent definitions.
The same suppliers are asked for data by different compliance projects, eroding cooperation.
Sending product and supply-chain data to the EU also requires cross-border-data compliance.
The AMT approach
From the data foundation to compliant delivery — phased, end to end.
- 1Unified data-governance foundation
The L1 platform establishes group-wide product and supply-chain master data, dissolving multi-system silos.
- 2Dispatch & reuse by regulation
Governed data is dispatched to CBAM / Battery-rule / DPP-ESPR definitions — collect once, reuse across regulations.
- 3Suppliers collaborate once
Carbon-Link lets suppliers report through one entry, avoiding repeated requests from multiple projects.
- 4Cross-border-data compliance
Design data-export paths and permissions per cross-border-data rules for secure transfer to the EU.
Outcomes
Beyond compliance — quantifiable savings and efficiency.

“Every new regulation used to mean a new project and a new system. Now a new regulation is mostly “configuration”, not “rebuild” — that’s what export compliance should look like.”
