The group has a vast, fast-iterating SKU base and heavily outsourced manufacturing. On one hand, customers and regulators require Scope 3 value-chain disclosure (the large majority of total emissions); on the other, electronics fall under DPP-ESPR and the Battery Regulation, needing digital passports. Both scenarios depend on the same upstream suppliers’ product-level data, yet the customer used to request data on two separate tracks — “carbon inventory” and “product compliance” — causing duplicate reporting and clashing definitions.
